The company's first device that was labeled as a messaging phone is the LG VX9800, launched by Verizon Wireless in the US back in 2005.
Since then, LG introduced many other QWERTY handsets all over the world.
Just for the record, the well-known enV series reached sales of 8 million units, while the Rumor series reached sales of 6 million units -- both in North America.
Also, in Europe and Asia, the LG KS360 was sold in more than 1.5 mil units.
For us, this is awesome news -- we're now waiting for LG to announce the 40 million mark!
