Sprint's LG LX370 release date: May 09

Update: LG LX370 was launched by Sprint much later, on June 21.

The slider you can see below is the LG LX370, one of the new phones that Sprint's getting ready to introduce this year.

LG LX370 is not a messaging phone, like the LG Rumor2 or the LG Lotus.

It has a regular alphanumeric keypad, QVGA screen, Bluetooth and a 2 Megapixel camera -- so it'll probably be offered for a low price.

SprintGurus points to a May 9 release, so the LX370 could be yours in less than two weeks if you're on Sprint.
