Why is the GD900 awesome? Well, as you can see in the video, the phone has a transparent sliding keypad that supports multi-touch input -- just like its 3-inch, 800 x 480 pixels display (beat that, dear iPhone).
The GD900 further has an 8 Megapixel autofocus camera, Dolby Mobile technology, stereo Bluetooth, TV out, 1.5GB of expandable memory, S-Class User Interface, HSDPA connectivity and much more.
The conclusion: LG GD900 Crystal might turn out to be the best touchscreen phone since... the iPhone.
Sadly, the exact release date of GD900 was not announced by LG -- but the company said that the unique slider would become available before the end of May (probably for a pretty high retail price).
Meanwhile, we're still wondering what does that LG GD710 look like... If it has a transparent keypad as well, and it's cheaper than the GD900, we'll buy two! No, wait, three!
