LG 5500 launched by Telus in Canada

If you're a Telus Mobility customer who needs a new and affordable flip phone, the LG 5500 might be your thing.

The new phone was just launched by Telus and it's available for the retail price of $199.99. In case you want to buy it with a contract agreement, you can get it for only $29.99 (3 year contract required).

As you can see, LG 5500 is a simple phone.

It has a large, easy-to-dial keypad, a VGA photo camera, Bluetooth, email, Web browser and a one-touch handsfree speakerphone button.

What the 5500 is missing is a music player and FM radio, but we guess there are users out there in Canada who don't need these features. Or aren't there?
