LG BL40 to hit Orange UK, Carphone Warehouse

Orange UK is the first mobile carrier to offer the new LG BL40 Chocolate to British customers.

The unique phone will be available from Orange UK and Carphone Warehouse starting this month, for a price that wasn't unveiled yet. The BL40 will join Orange's line-up of LG touchscreen phones that currently includes: LG Arena KM900, LG Viewty Smart GC900, LG GW520, LG GT505, LG Cookie and LG Prada KF900.

British mobile users should know that the highlights of LG BL40 Chocolate are: 4-inch touchscreen display with 16 million colors and 345 x 800 pixels, S-Class 3D Touch UI, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS and A-GPS, Dolby Mobile sound, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio, FM transmitter, microUSB port, 1GB of internal memory, and a 5 Megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, autofocus and LED flash.

A very cool LG BL40 video promo was launched today:

Also, the LG Mobile UK Blog has some nice photos from the BL40 launch event held today in London: You can check out an LG BL40 Chocolate review here.

Orange UK will soon release the LG GW300 too, on PAYG.
