LG GD880 Mini and GD510 Pop pass the FCC

The Federal Communications Commission has approved two new LG phones in the last few days: the LG GD510 Pop and the LG GD880 Mini.

The LG GD510 Pop is already available in Europe since the end of 2009, and we know that it's a 2.5G affordable phone with a 240 x 400 pixels touchscreen display, S-Class UI, Facebook, MySpace and Twitter integration, and a 3.15 Megapixel camera.

As for the LG GD880, this hasn't been officially announced, but it appeared in some leaked photos a few weeks ago (see the photos below). The GD880 Mini resembles the GD510 Pop, but its features are more advanced, including 3G, 3.2-inch 480 x 854 pixels touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 5 Megapixel camera.

At the moment, we don't know if the LG GD880 Mini or the LG GD510 Pop will be released in North America, but carriers like AT&T, Rogers, Bell and Telus may want to offer the phones.
