LG Accolade VX5600 launched by Verizon

Verizon Wireless has just launched a new LG clamshell, the LG Accolade VX5600. As we told you before, the Accolade VX5600 is a simple 1xRTT phone, and LG says it's also reliable and easy-to-use, so if you're in the market for such a device, you should check it out.

The features of LG Accolade include: 1.76-inch internal TFT display with 220 x 176 pixels and 262K colors, 1.04-inch external TFT display with 94 x 86 pixels and 65K colors, large keypad, Bluetooth, one-touch speakerphone, speaker–independent voice commands, 1.3 Megapixel camera and a 1,000 mAh battery. The Accolade VX5600 is also VZ Navigator capable and Family Locator capable.

Verizon sells the LG Accolade VX5600 for $19.99 with a two-year agreement. You can also buy the phone free of contract, but you'll have to pay $199.99. See the phone here on Big Red's website.

Another LG clamshell that Verizon should launch soon is the LG VX8370 Clout, but we have little info on it at the moment.
