LG GT350 messaging phone announced

LG GT350 is the latest messaging phone announced by LG -- a new device that resembles the LG KS360 and will probably reiterate its success (the KS360 was sold in more than 5 million units).

The LG GT350 comes with less buttons on the front and more keys on the sliding QWERTY keyboard, which now has 4 rows, unlike the KS360's 3-row keyboard. The new phone also features a 3-inch WQVGA (240 x 400 pixels) full-touch display, Bluetooth, HTML browser, Music player, FM radio, microSD card slot and 3.15 Megapixel camera. We have no info on the phone's connectivity yet, so we don't know if it's a 3G device, or a 2.5G one, like the old KS360.

LG has optimized the interface of GT350 for social networking, including full integration with Facebook, Twitter and the likes. Also, there are dedicated keys on the keyboard, for e-mail, IM and the web browser.

LG GT350 will be available in April across Europe. Other markets around the world will get the phone shortly after. There will be four color versions: black, purple, light silver and aqua blue.
