LG GW620 will be launched in Taiwan in the second quarter of the year, while the LG GT540 may come shorty after. The LG GW620 runs Android 1.5 and has a 3-inch touchscreen display, plus a sliding QWERTY keyboard. The LG GT540 doesn't feature a QWERTY keyboard, but it will come with Android 2.0.
An LG Windows Mobile smartphone will also be introduced in Taiwan in the coming months. In related news, LG sold about 8,000 New Chocolate phones (BL40 and BL20) in Taiwan since the handsets were launched in December last year. December was also the month when LG launched the LG GD580 Lollipop in Taiwan, and it looks like the company sold more than 10,000 units until now.
