Like the LG GD510 Pop (launched last year), the Mini GD880 has a simple design, but it features a plus of elegance, thanks in no small part to the metallic finish on the top and on the sides. The new phone weighs 92 grams and measures only 102.1 x 47.8 x 10.5 mm -- this allowing LG to present it as the smallest and slimmest 3.2-inch full touchscreen handset on the market.
The display of GD880 Mini is WVGA with a 480 x 854 pixels resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Other features include: accelerometer, HSDPA (7.2Mbps), advanced social networking capabilities, A-GPS, WLAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g), push e-mail, HTML web browser, Music player, FM radio, 3.5mm headset jack, 5 Megapixel autofocus camera with face detection, microSD card support, and a 900 mAh battery.
Europe will get the LG Mini GD880 starting March. The phone's price will vary, depending on the market it's launched in.
