LG Cosmos VN250 for Verizon Wireless

Update: the LG Cosmos is now available at Verizon for only $29.99 with a contract agreement for two years.

LG Cosmos VN250 will be Verizon's second new LG phone for this year, after the LG Accolade VX5600. While the Accolade is a basic clamshell, the LG Cosmos VN250 is a messaging phone with a full QWERTY keyboard.

The LG VN250 Cosmos has a Rumor-like design and features a 2-inch display, 2.5mm headset jack, 1.3 Megapixel camera, microUSB and microSD card support. EV-DO connectivity seems to be missing.

Phone Arena says the LG VN250 will be launched by Verizon this month -- on March 25. We think the Cosmos will cost about $50 on contract so it should be perfect for anyone in search of a new affordable messaging phone that doesn't require a data plan.

  3. I just purchased two through Verizon on-line, buy one and get one free. I hope it's a great phone. I just like talking and texting, so I don't need anything too fancy.
