LG GX500 officially announced

LG GX500, the new dual SIM touchscreen phone that we unveiled last month, has been officially announced in Russia. The phone will be available starting this month, targeted at businessmen and businesswomen.

The LG GX500 has a stylish design and lets you use 2 SIM cards at once -- the cards will work on 850/900/1800/1900 and 900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE bands. Changing the SIM cards priority is easily done with just a finger touch on the 3-inch WQVGA display.

The new phone is also equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth, music player, FM radio, push email, Opera Mini 5, social networking access, microUSB, microSD card support and a 3 Megapixel camera. The GX500 measures 108,9 x 53,4 x 12,95 mm, weighs 118 grams and comes with a 1500 mAh Li-Po battery.

LG GX500's price: 9900 RUB -- about 250 Eur or $335.
